Focused care, more dedicated time

Intensive therapy options

Safe Haven offers half-day and full-day intensive options for EMDR, KAP, and Marriage & Family Counseling. We’ll start with a conversation about what you hope to work on and whether an intensive format feels appropriate.

01 / Trauma-focused therapy

EMDR Intensives

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a structured psychotherapy approach used to help people work through distressing memories and experiences. A longer session format can offer dedicated time for this work, when clinically appropriate.

Your therapist will discuss your needs, readiness, and pacing before determining whether an intensive format is a good fit.

02 / Mind and body

KAP Intensives

Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) combines psychotherapy with ketamine treatment. Care is planned with appropriate clinical oversight, and the team will discuss the process, suitability, and any questions with you before moving forward.

KAP is not right for everyone. A clinician will help determine whether this option may be appropriate for you.

03 / Relationships and family

Marriage & Family Intensives

A dedicated half-day or full-day block can give couples or families more time to work with a therapist on the concerns they bring. The work is collaborative and guided by the needs and goals of the people involved.

Reach out to talk about who will participate and whether an intensive format fits your goals.
